Peanut butter is a dragon. He and Alex are friends, and they met one day in the garden of Alex's new home. Alex's mother and father have never seen Peanutbutter because he loves playing hide and seek and is very good at hiding.
In the first book Alex catches the monster's toe in a mouse trap. The monster is so large that Alex is very relieved that he only eats peanut butter sandwiches and not little children. The monster eats so much that Alexia names him Peanutbutter.
In the second book Alex is old enough to go to the shop all by himself. But Peanutbutter must stay at home... but does he?
In the third book Alex and Peanutbutter help Father Christmas when he has n accident
